Deadline Express

Deadline Express is a narrative-driven prototype focused on atmosphere, dialogue, and internal states rather than combat.

You explore a decaying city, talk to its inhabitants, make choices, and watch how time, sanity, and emotions shape the outcome of your journey.

Deadline Express tells the story of Alexander, a tired courier who dies during a routine delivery.

His soul cannot be sent to either peace or oblivion.

Instead, he is offered a job as a border courier, a liminal worker tasked with sealing the gates tied to the seven deadly sins. Each gate is a piece of unfinished business. Close enough and he earns peace. Fail and he fades into oblivion.

• This version is a demo / prototype developed as part of the ITMO GameDev semester project.
• The project is developed by a team of four.
• Developed in Unreal Engine 5 over the course of 3 months
• An update with full English localization is coming soon
• Some AI-generated assets are currently used and will be gradually replaced with handcrafted content in future updates.
